HI Hollon, I have mixed memories of our sunrise AR training run together. You motivated me on the up because 1. I hate running and 2. I already did my double up on Camelback right before we set off so I wasn't quite the bouncing bunny you were that day. I must say I learned alot from that experience. For one, I will always trust my gut level feelings from now on, sensing that something isn't right and acting on it. Also, always tell someone where I am hiking or biking, just incase. I'm so proud of you and although we didnt know each other that "marked day" in our lives I feel as if you are a sacred story to tell. It's a blessing that you made it Hollon and you were an IronMan just to survive the trauma that you endured. Congrats to you my friend!

Well, a blast from the passed! It appears as if we are still doing the same old things. Running around and maybe not getting into trouble any more but running. So gald to hear you are well. I'm not up to your level of fitness, 1/2 marathon's are my forte, just getting into Tri's God Bless. Scott

Man! You were looking strong as you ran by! For those reading this blog: Hollon was out of the water at an hour and 15 minutezs. On the bike for 5 hours, 30 minutes and zoomed past us with a smile on his face!

We pulled up to Dilly's Deli earlier this week at about the same time. Saw your AZEndurance.com sticker and thought I'd check it out! Crazy story. Glad to see you are still at it after all your challenges. Good luck in November, in my eyes, you are already an Ironman!

Hi Hollen- I am a friend of a friends, Kim and Christine, I know them from biking Sundays. I had to read your store, quite inspirational and unbelievable!! Ironically enough I had a little tiny accident compared to yours today while running trails at Mcdowell Mtn sunrise. A few stitches and knee brace later I will be fine. That is awesome that you are signed up for Ironman 2009, crazily enough I have been contemplating the same. Well, good luck to you, go for it!! You are a survivor and an inspiration to all!! Kelly

Hollon I still think you are crazy, but you still, I think, take after me, your old (90) uncle Hollon. My doctor calls me an aberration. Welcome to the club. We all have faith in your ability. Me, Jane, and the one who is in charge of our life. Go for it!
